Die Europäische Investitionsbank (EIB) hat einen Kredit über 300 Millionen Euro für den Bau und die Inbetriebnahme des Pumpspeicherkraftwerks Salto de Chira auf Gran Canaria genehmigt. Gebaut wird die Anlage vom spanischen Übertragungsnetzbetreiber Red Eléctrica, der zur Redeia-Gruppe gehört.
