The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending Slovenian electricity company Elektro Ljubljana €50 million to expand and upgrade the power-distribution network in central and southeastern parts of the country. EIB Vice-President Kyriacos Kakouris and Elektro Ljubljana President of the Management Board Urban Likozar signed the credit agreement today in the Slovenian capital in the presence of State Secretary Tina Seršen of Slovenia’s Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy.
On the 20th anniversary of Slovenia's accession to the European Union (EU), the European Investment Bank (EIB) Group is organising an exhibit of photos that highlight a range of EIB-funded projects in the country. The outdoor exposition, "Slovenia – 20 years of progress in the EU", opened on the Gallus Embankment in Ljubljana on 29 August 2024 and will run until 30 September 2024.
Skupina Evropske investicijske banke (skupina EIB) je napovedala, da bo leto 2023 pomembno za njeno poslovanje v Sloveniji, in nato dejansko podpisala za 359 milijonov € novih zavez za financiranje. Sredstva namenja projektom, ki podpirajo rast in ohranjanje delovnih mest v obdobju, polnem izzivov tako za slovensko kot tudi za evropsko gospodarstvo. Od omenjenih zavez za financiranje je Evropski investicijski sklad (EIF), ki je del skupine EIB, odobril dve jamstvi v skupnem znesku 67 milijonov €.
