Spain: InvestEU - EIB signs €50 million green loan with Matrix Renewables to deploy five new solar photovoltaic plants
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Matrix Renewables have signed a €50 million green loan to support the design, construction, and operation of 5 solar photovoltaic plants with an installed capacity of 240 MW located in the regions of Castilla y Leon and Extremadura in Spain. Matrix Renewables is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) backed by TPG Rise.

Spain: EIB and Adif AV agree €430 million loan for the construction of the ¨Y vasca¨ high-speed rail line
The EIB and the Spanish railway infrastructure company Adif Alta Velocidad (Adif AV) have signed a €430 million loan to build the Vitoria/Gasteiz-Bilbao-Donostia/San Sebastián high-speed rail line. The line, called “Y vasca”, will provide a high-speed link between the three capitals of the Basque Country region in Spain and strengthen connections with the rest of the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
